What’s New?

While LONGi had previously demonstrated HIBC technology in lab and pre-commercial stages, this announcement marks the first time such a high-power HIBC module is entering mass production, making it readily available for large-scale deployment in real-world projects.

⚙️ Key Specifications:

  • Output Power: 700W+

  • Efficiency: 25.9%

  • Module Size: 2382 × 1134 mm

  • Power Density: 259 W/m²

  • Technology: Hybrid Interdigitated Back Contact (HJT + Back Contact)

✅ Highlights & Benefits:

  • No front-side busbars → Maximum light absorption

  • Elegant all-black appearance → Ideal for rooftops and building-integrated PV

  • Stable performance in high-temperature environments

  • Mass production ready → Available now for residential, commercial, and utility projects

Why It Matters for the Industry

With efficiency and aesthetics becoming critical in solar system design, LONGi’s HIBC modules offer:

  • Higher energy output from the same surface area

  • Fewer modules per system

  • Lower balance of system (BOS) costs

  • Faster return on investment (ROI)
